Junior Oztag Summer Season 2024

Gather your mates, its time to Play! Summer season is just around the corner. See steps below:

  • Team Manager Registers the team via SPORTFIX 
  • Unique team code is generated, manager send code to the players
  • Players register into their team using the unique code
  • If you do not have a team, CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT FORM and we will try to allocate you to a team

 

COMPETITION DETAILS

  • Competition Day: Thursdays
  • Starts: September 19, 2024
  • Finish: December 19, 2024
  • Venue: Beacon Hill Reserve
  • Game Times: 4:15pm, 4:50pm, 5:25pm
  • Competition Format: 10 Round Games, Semi Final & Grand Final (Wet weather rounds included)
  • Grading: Depending on team numbers we will grade the divisions after Round 4.
  • Divisions: Boys & Girls 10’s, 12s, 14’s and 16’s

8 Year old Players & Younger

  • If we have enough Junior Taggers register interest we will run skills sessions
  • Pending enough players, following the skills sessions we will run Games

INSURANCE

  • Please ensure all players read the INSURANCE information CLICK HERE
  • NOTE** Loss of income is not covered in standard insurance, it is an EXTRA. Contact Manager for information

 

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

  • All players must be registered  to take the field. If you are caught playing unregistered players, your team will be recorded as forfeiting that game AND 4 point’s competition penalty.
  • Teams must register minimum of 10 players.
  • A player will play in the year division that they turn in 2024. Example – If I am 10 now, turning 11 in 2024 I will play in the 12s.

 

UNIFORM

  • Australian Oztag only allow Oztag Merchandise or OES shorts/tights to be played in. This is a mandatory policy to allow the same grade of Velcro and material in all playing shorts/tights. The referee will not allow a player to take the field without the proper shorts/tights.
  • These will be available at all game nights. No homemade shorts/tights are permitted on the field.
  • All team playing tops must be the same colour. All shirts must have a different number. All playing tops must be long enough to be tucked into shorts/ tights. Teams have until round 4 to organise this.
